Types of sight glasses

Sight glasses are commonly made of stainless steel, ensuring robustness and corrosion resistance. The connections can be threaded, flanged, or welded, depending on the installation requirements. The type of glass used is crucial for the device’s thermal resistance:

   – Tempered Glass: can withstand temperatures up to 180°C.

   – Borosilicate Glass: can withstand higher temperatures, up to 220°C.
